Recently I have been working on providing a cute range of sea weed looking plants that would be suitable for mini habitats like ours. I wanted you to see the results. I'm hoping to have them in the shop soon. Battery is for size comparison

I collected a few stems from several salt tolerant shrubs and tried to grow them in a passive unaerated unfiltered tank. Unfortunately they were not very happy and did not seem to last with most of them dropping their leaves. I wonder if they would benefit from the add circulation of the new safe form of aeration that I’ve just finished developing?? However I have also found one plant that does quite well!
It is called Sea Purslane (Sesuvium portulacastrum) I have found that it grows and even starts branching so I am going to keep investigating this one further. This plant rather reminds me of the pigface family of plants except it does not have the large show daisy type flowers that most have. But it is also the most aesthetic of the types I have messed with so far.
