Video of Baby Sea Bubbles

Baby Sea Bubbles, at about 20x magnification
A second movie

I broke out my microscope the other day, and got video of too-small-to-see baby sea bubbles from my big jar. (Sea Bubbles, Winkles, and Cocos. There were Sea Monkeys and Dragons in there, but I can't seem to keep them alive; I blame the cold.)

(I also got some other things worth looking at when I took the sample of baby Bubbles. These are either Winkle or Coco eggs. Maybe one of each? I've got one tiny Coco, but I haven't seen any other new snails. Yet. :D )

Thanks Roisnoir

Great pictures!

The only thing I cna suggest is to put a desk lamp on, despite what post peole think they doent use a lot of electricity compared to other heating apliences. it is the coldest part of the year that seems to cause the most problems and with out a spot of warmth they seem to struggle compared to the warmer parts of the year.

Color me jealous. That is a wonderfully simple and beautiful set up.

OK, tank heaters... I know that it sounds wierd, but I have found that here in the US the Hemit Crab electric heaters like this one http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2752439&lmdn=Pet+Type work wonderfully on keeping a small aquarium warm, but not too warm. Hope that helps...
